On the sidelines of the draw ceremony of the 25th Men’ Seniors ANC 2022, the memorandum of understanding between the CAHB and the Egyptian Handball Federation, for the organization of the said competition, was signed.

Scheduled to take place from 11 to 18 July 2022 in Egypt, the African Cup of Nations will see 14 national teams divided into four groups, fighting for the title of African Champion. It is as follows:

GROUP A: Egypt – Morocco – Cameroon

GROUP B: Algeria – Gabon – Guinea – Kenya

GROUP C: Tunisia – Cape Verde – Nigeria

GROUP D: Angola – Democratic Congo – Senegal – Zambia
