Women’s Junior World Championship Slovenia 2022: The adventure ends in the quarterfinals for Angola


In their quarterfinal match against the Netherlands, Angola gave 1000% to try to counter vigorously the Netherlands but the latter kept a constant lead, closing the match with a final score of 29:21. Nevertheless, the Angolan women can be proud of their performance in this 23rd IHF Women’s Junior World Championship as it remains the best final position in history for an African team in the competition.

The Angolan junior women team will play the 4-8 places with Germany, Switzerland, and Denmark.
