Dear Handball Friends,

From 19th August  to 7th September  2022, the Rwanda Handball Federation and the city of KIGALI will host the 29th Men’s Juniors and the 18th Men’s Youth Africa Nations Championships 2022. A flagship sporting event of the African Handball Confederation.

Hosting such an event to live great moments is always a big challenge. Also, I would like to thank the Organizing Committee whose members deploy all their talents to make those championships a great success.

I hope that all the participating delegations will enjoy themselves in this beautiful country known for its charm and well known in the world for its tourist assets.

On behalf of the Council of the African Handball Confederation, I wish to congratulate all the National teams that are present in Kigali to defend their colors with dignity, sportsmanship and brilliance. But above all, I would like to address my sincere compliments to all the member federations who are working for the permanent training of young players in order to fertilize our pools and operate a qualitative renewal of their number. This is the condition of brillance for access to excellence.

Dear players and dear supporters,

You are the very image of an African handball in full development and as young players, you will offer quite a show to the less young persons who will come to cheer you. Never forget that you are the spokesmen of our sport and that the fair play you will show on the field during those championships will reflect on our collective passion for handball.
