The second day of the Olympic Games Handball Tournament was the beginning of the women’s competition and the first match of the Angolan team (in Group A) which are at their seventh consecutive Olympic Games.

This first day was not very successful for the Angolese players who had to face the Montenegrins. They struggle to contain their defensive force and the game ended with a final score of 33:22 for Montenegro.

Norway vs Korea 39:27 (18:10)

ROC vs Brazil 24:24 (14:12)

Spain vs Sweden 25:31 (9:13)

Hungary vs France 29:30 (12:15)

For its next match which will take place on Tuesday, July 28, Angola will meet Norway, the reigning European champions.
